While the world focuses on the World Cup games in Qatar, unions and activists are calling foul and giving out the most important red card yet: adidas sponsors the World Cup to a tune of $800 million, but refuses to pay workers their stolen wages during the pandemic. Join Kalpona Akter, president of Bangladesh Garment & Industrial Workers Federation (BGIWF), Workers United, and allies as we demand that adidas pay their workers, respect labor rights across the supply chain and negotiate directly with garment worker unions.
